Sweden Day is one of the activities within Project China, a student project operated by Swedish students, in cooperation with Asic, the international student organisation at Tsinghua. The main purpose of this event is to engage Chinese students to the Swedish culture, customs, landscape, business and basically share a bit of the Swedish lifestyle.
During Sweden Day, you will have a chance to meet companies and their representatives. Among these, you will find Sandvik, one of the worlds leading company within steel and industrial tools, so why not take the opportunity to learn more about working for a Swedish company and maybe even bring your resume.
The Swedish Institute, whose goal is to promote Sweden culture abroad, will present how you can study or work in Sweden. If you are interested in an exchange or masters in Sweden you can also visit the Royal Institute of Technologies and the Stockholm School of Economics tents to learn more about two of Sweden’s most renowned universities situated in the beautiful city of Stockholm.
During Sweden day, we will also provide Swedish food-tasting with traditional delicacies, candies and beverages. You can view Sweden’s striking landscape and culture in our outdoor photo gallery while having a cold drink. You can participate in competitions, games and interesting presentations. Take a second look at the schedule so you won’t miss out!
The Swedish ambassador will open Sweden Day at 10 o’clock, so be there on time and you will receive a goodie-bag!

Schedule for Sweden Day:
Sweden Day is open between 10.00 and 15.00.
10.00 Opening Ceremony performed by Mikael Lindström, Sweden's ambassador.
11.00 Swedish Institute holds a lecture about studying and working in Sweden.
12.00 Sandvik presents their company. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about a Swedish company that has been in Beijing since 1985.
15.00 Sweden Day comes to an end.
Where is Sweden Day:
The expo area of Sweden Day is located between the C-building and the football field, right next to the students dormitories.
The closest gate is the north-east gate which is about 1 kilometer from the expo area.
